Request regarding the use of portable chargers

Thank you for your continued patronage.

There have been increasing reports of mobile batteries emitting smoke or catching fire, both Japan and overseas.

To ensure the safety and security of all our guests, we ask for your cooperation in observing the following points regarding the use of mobile batteries in guest rooms.

■Please refrain from charging your mobile battery when you are away from the room. 

■When charging portable electronic devices using a mobile battery, or when charging the mobile battery using an in-room power outlet, please avoid placing it in the following locations.

　・A window exposed to direct sunlight

　・On flammable materials such as beds, sheets, and curtains

■To prevent any problems that may occur while charging, please use the device in a location where you can always check the status yourself.

■Do not use a mobile battery that is damaged, swollen, or overheating abnormally.

If the above situation is discovered during room cleaning during your stay, staff may move the mobile battery or stop charging it for safety reasons.
