The Kitano Hotel has been in business for over 50 years.
In the ever-developing international cities of Tokyo and New York, we are pursuing unique hospitality that incorporates the culture of both countries.
We are working to become a stage for international exchanges and business support for many customers.
“The Kitano Hotel New York” was born after the founder, Kitano Tsuguto, worked on the Japan Pavilion at the World Expo in New York, and is currently the only Japanese hotel in Manhattan.
In 2019, its companion, The Kitano Hotel Tokyo, opened in the Hirakawacho district of Chiyoda city.
While respecting Japanese tradition, we will welcome customers with the meticulous service unique to Kitano that also incorporates the homely atmosphere of the United States.

  Tokyo and New York,
  a trust that goes beyond countries.

  In 1964, the long-stay apartment hotel “Kitano Arms”, the predecessor of this hotel, was founded in Hirakawacho, Chiyoda city.
  In 1973, the “Hotel Kitano” opened in NY; it was bestowed by the mayor of the time the Key to the City and it is now the only Japanese owned hotel in Manhattan, still very much loved by customers.
  In 2019, the former Kitano Arms reopened as “The Kitano Hotel Tokyo”.
  With the trust and experience we have built in both countries in these years, we will continue support and welcome our customers.
